The house and pool
Renovated in traditional Italian country style, to a high specification, the house boasts marble tiled bathrooms, terracotta tiled floors, chestnut beamed ceilings and generous living space.
On the edge of the Mount Maiella National Park, half way between the mountain and the sea, the panoramic views enjoyed from the house never disappoint our visitors.
The house is in a remote and rural area, so you will need a car to get around. There is one local village shop a 10 minute walk from the house for groceries and household goods.
The surrounding areas
Abruzzo offers a spectrum of traditional Italian hilltop towns, boasting everything from ruined castles to ancient churches, roman ruins, antiques markets, shopping and playgrounds for the kids.
Mount Maiella is a 45 minute drive, with skiing in the winter, and a selection of pebbled and sandy beaches are just 30 minutes away.
